Ovacık Kilise Camii

According to the inscription on the church located in the town of Ovacik, its construction date is given as 1771. Originally built as a church, the structure was converted into a mosque in later years. The church-mosque is entered through the door on the side of the narthex. The arches of the narthex have been filled in with stone. The interior of the church was built with three naves, consisting of one main apse with two small apses on its sides. Directly opposite the main apse there is a second floor. When it was later converted into a mosque, the floor was raised by about two meters.
