Registered as a "Group 1 Historic Monument" by the Gaziantep Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Property in May 2018 and surviving to the present at foundation level, the structure has been identified as a rural chapel. In the damage assessment carried out after the February 6 earthquakes, the structure, designated AN-7, was classified at the "partial / total collapse" level. 1
