Editor's Note
Located in the village of Yeşilyurt in Altunhisar, Niğde, this church, whose original name, patron and dedication are unknown, has never appeared in any scholarly publication to date. Registered as the 'Sivri Church' by decision no. 1110 of the Nevşehir Council for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Property of the Ministry of Culture, dated 30 September 1999, the building is today in a neglected state. Because of its elevation, the road passing along the north side of the church, which lies in the center of the settlement, has caused this façade of the building to be buried up to the level of the dome drum. Likewise, the west and east façades are also filled with rubble.
