According to the same yearbook, the building was constructed adjoining the Tok Temur Masjid, which dates to the 14th century. According to its inscriptions, the Hasan Padişah Mosque was repaired in 1574, during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Selim Han, by Hacı Yakub, son of Şeyh Abdülkadir.
