It was built in AH 1027 / AD 1618 by Haci Abdullah Bey of the Beyazitogullari. It has undergone repairs in various periods. Only the minaret of the mosque has remained original. On the entrance floor of the Beyazitli Mosque there are two inscriptions of different dates. From the inscription on the minaret dated AH 1220 / AD 1805, we learn that Kalender Pasha repaired the minaret. The Kalender Pasha Madrasa stands in the garden of the Beyazitli Mosque.
