Dating to the Late Ottoman period, the Ali Riza Cuhadar Mansion is an important residential building constructed in the late 19th century. Although it is not known who commissioned it, its architectural features and decorative elements reflect the traditional residential architecture of the era. The building was placed in the middle of a 1,207 m2 plot on sloping terrain, so that all four facades remain open. Set at the center of a large courtyard, the mansion opens to a large garden on the north. Over time, ownership of this garden passed to different people and it was altered with a reinforced-concrete building.
