Editor's Note
Built of rough-hewn stone, the church survives today only as a ruin. While it could not be determined whether it sustained damage in the February 6 earthquakes, it is clearly in a state too fragile to withstand any future tremors. In the damage assessment carried out after the February 6 earthquakes, the structure, designated AN-9, was classified as "partially / completely collapsed."
