The bath, built by Lala Mustafa Paşa, has an entrance reached by nine steps and a pointed-arch doorway. The cold room, the first space upon entering, is square in plan and covered by a dome with a lantern at its center for light. From the changing area, one passes through a corridor containing the toilets to reach the warm room. Square in plan, the warm room consists of two facing iwans. From the warm room one passes to the hot room, which consists of eight iwans and two private chambers arranged around the octagonal navel stone at the center of the main space. The water tank and furnace lie beyond the hot room.
