Editor's Note
An ancient town in Pamphylia, near Side and the Melas (today's Manavgat) River. It is also called Cibyra Minor to distinguish it from Cibyra Magna of the same name. Its exact location was debated among ancient geographers: Strabo mentions the coast of the 'little Cibyratae,' while Ptolemy lists it among the inland towns of Cilicia. Its remains are thought to be those observed by Captain Beaufort on a height by a river east of the Melas.
