Editor's Note
Zeyve Höyük (called Porsuk Höyük in most sources) is a settlement mound within the village of Porsuk in the Ulukışla district of Niğde. This southern Cappadocian site lay on an important route between Syria-Mesopotamia and Anatolia thanks to its proximity to the silver and lead deposits of the Taurus Mountains, and it preserves successive Iron Age layers from the period following the Hittite Empire.
