Karahan Tepe (Karahantepe) is an archaeological site in Şanlıurfa province, 46 km from the city center. First discovered in 1997 by Bahattin Çelik, the site contains some 250 standing stones thought to date from the Neolithic period. The first excavations began in September 2019.
