Hacınebi Höyük is a settlement mound in northwestern Şanlıurfa, 5 km north of the town of Birecik, beside the village of Hacınebi (Uğurcuk). It stands where the Euphrates bends eastward, at the junction of trade routes running from Mesopotamia into central Anatolia. Measuring about 240 by 140 meters and up to 7 meters high, the mound covers roughly 3.3 hectares.
