Nerik was a Bronze Age settlement north of the Hittite capitals Hattusa and Sapinuwa, probably in the Pontic region. Since work in 2005-2009 it has been identified with Oymaagac Hoyuk, on the eastern side of the Kizilirmak River about 7 km northwest of Vezirkopru in Samsun Province.
