Pisidian eagle's nest at 1,665 metres that even Alexander the Great refused to besiege.
Editor's Note
Termessos was a Pisidian city built at an altitude of about 1,000 metres on the south-west slopes of Mount Solymos (Gulluk Dagi) in the Taurus Mountains, roughly 17 km north-west of Antalya. Set on a natural platform amid dense pine forest, it is among the best-preserved ancient cities in Turkey and lies within the national park named after it.
