A town on the southeast coast of ancient Lycia, located in the Mavikent neighbourhood of the Kumluca district of Antalya Province. The stone gagates (jet) took its name from this town. Excavations in 2007 revealed an upper and lower acropolis as well as evidence of Rhodian colonization.
