Damasei was a town of ancient Lycia. Its site is placed near the village of Belören, formerly called Muskar, in Antalya's Demre district. What has come down is chiefly the location itself: one of the village-scale links in the settlement network of Lycia, recorded and then quietly absorbed into the countryside.
