Limnae (Limnai) was a town of ancient Cappadocia, inhabited in Byzantine times. The usurper Marcus, who had seized the Byzantine throne, died here in exile. Its site lies near Yeşilgölcük (formerly Gölcük) in present-day Niğde Province.
