Aloanda is an ancient Lycian city within the borders of Muğla, about 24 km from Fethiye. It lies northwest of the village of Kabaağaç in the Seydikemer district, at the foot of a rise known as Hisarcık. Although the city is known to have a long history, only a few fortress walls of cut stone from the Byzantine period survive today.
