Editor's Note
Pinara, set at the foot of Mount Kragos, was one of the largest cities of ancient Lycia. It was founded close to the west of the famous city of Xanthos. Among its ruins are numerous temples, rock-cut tombs including a "royal tomb," upper and lower acropolises, a theatre, an odeon, an agora, and a church.
