Editor's Note
Dülük (Doliche) is an ancient city in the Dülük quarter of the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, regarded as one of the oldest still-inhabited towns in Turkey. Copper Age artifacts have been found there. Throughout history it passed in turn among the Hittites, Medes, Assyrians, Persians, and Alexander the Great, and it began to lose its importance after the founding of the nearby city of Antiochia ad Taurum.
