- For this work a noblewoman of Arneai, Lalla, gave 3,000 denarii and was honoured for it; wife of Dioteimos, she was a priestess of the imperial cult.
- Another inscription is dedicated to a local god, Tobaloas.
- The city received help from Opramoas after the Lycian earthquake of 141, and after the earthquake of 5 August 240 it was one of the few cities Gordian III allowed to strike coins.
- On the southern slope stands a three-aisled Early Byzantine church with an apse 3.65 metres across and a mosaic-paved narthex.
