Editor's Note
The Beşiktaş Cat Museum, in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, was established by the Beşiktaş Municipality under the leadership of Sunay Akın and opened on 4 October 2023. Known as Istanbul's first animal-themed museum, it draws on Sunay Akın's collection. It displays cat-themed figures, toys, books and comics, and can be visited free of charge.
