Story
Located in the heart of Fatih, the Tanzimat Museum preserves the cultural legacy of the Tanzimat reforms, which began in 1839 and transformed the entire structure of the Ottoman Empire. The museum displays documents, works of art, and everyday objects from this revolutionary era. Its collection of white porcelain, pieces by master Anatolian embroiderers, official correspondence of the period, and educational materials all tell the story of the social transformation of that age.
