An online city museum dedicated to women, launched in 2012 to keep women's history visible and build a collective women's memory. Founded by the Istanbul Women's Culture Foundation and curated by Meral Akkent, it focuses on the biographies of pioneering women in the city's cultural and artistic life. It is Turkey's first and the world's third city museum devoted to women, and a member of the International Association of Women's Museums.
