The Yörük Ali Efe Museum, open since 2001 in the Yenipazar district of Aydın, was established to keep alive the memory of the local hero Yörük Ali Efe, with his grave and statue standing in its garden. It was created on the site of Yörük Ali Efe's own house, thought to date from the late 19th century, which had been destroyed by fire.
