Editor's Note
The Takkeci İbrahim Ağa Külliyesi is a late-16th-century Ottoman complex located outside the city walls in the Topkapı district of Istanbul. Commissioned by Takkeci İbrahim Ağa, after whom it is named, it comprises a mosque, a well, two fountains, a cemetery and a primary school, with a fountain added by Derviş Mehmed Paşa in 1819. The mosque, built in 1592, is notable for its 16th-century İznik tile panels.
