Editor's Note

Museum work in Isparta began in 1933 with the opening of the People's House, where archaeological finds and Islamic gravestones gathered from the region were displayed in one of its rooms. After the People's House closed the objects were moved to storage, and in 1973 a room of the Halil Hamit Pasha Library was used as a museum depot, establishing the first museum post.
