Editor's Note
Alacadağ is a fault-block mountain on the Teke Peninsula in Antalya Province, on the border between Demre and Finike. Reaching 2,328 m, it runs southwest to northeast and resembles a seaward extension of the Bey Mountains, though it is separated from them by the Akçay; it measures about 30 km north to south and 20 km east to west.
