The Kayışdağı Water Fountain stands in the courtyard of the Sahrayıcedid Mosque in the Sahrayıcedid neighbourhood of the Kadıköy district of Istanbul. Built in the 20th century, it takes its name from the Kayış Dağı spring water it carries. A single-faced square fountain, it is crowned by an eaved dome topped with a finial; its pediment bears reliefs of plant and scrollwork motifs and inscriptions of Quranic verses and hadith about water.
