The Prank of Bardakçı Baba was the creation of a fake tomb for a Sufi mystic who never existed, in Istanbul's Fulya quarter. Erected as a prank in the early 1970s, later moved and rebuilt in lavish form, and finally dismantled in the early 2020s, the tomb had become an object of popular piety in the district.
