Safrantı Castle is located 6 kilometres north of the town of Kayapınar in the Felahiye district of Kayseri. Set on a pointed hill at an elevation of 1,902 metres, the castle occupies an area of about 10,000 square metres. Numerous broken pottery fragments are found on the castle. Marble architectural pieces were also identified here in the past, but these marble fragments no longer exist today. To its southwest is a cistern carved into the rock and reached by a staircase.
