Editor's Note
The tomb is located in Bağiçi neighbourhood of Gölbaşı district, Ankara province, partly on parcel 12 of block 124459 in the land registry, to the north of the village. The tomb belongs to Seydi Yusuf Hazretleri, one of the saints of Khorasan and Anatolia who lived during the founding era of the Ottoman state (14th century) and one of the Alperen warrior-dervishes who led Turkmen settlement in the region. Since 2005 the graves have been plundered by treasure hunters, and over the twelve years up to 2017 the tomb was almost completely destroyed.
