It was built in 1894. It was a complex consisting of a harem, stables, outbuildings, servants' rooms, a carriage house, a kitchen, a vegetable garden, water wells, and pools. Facing financial difficulties, Arap Tahsin Paşa sold the mansion to the engineer Abdurrahman Naci Demirağ. Even so, the Paşa and his wife continued to live in the selamlık building until they died. The Harem Mansion was demolished in 1932, and the other buildings in the following years. Only the Selamlık Building has survived to the present day.
