Administered by the Kadıköy Hemdat Israel Synagogue Foundation, this cemetery is located in the Acıbadem–Uzunçayır area. Based on its register of first burials, it is believed to have been established during the First World War. The dates and elegies inscribed on the headstones of those among the first 18 burials indicate that they fell as martyrs while fighting in the ranks of the Ottoman army. These stones were gathered together to form a small memorial within the cemetery, and a ceremony is held there each year on 18 March, the Day of Remembrance for the Çanakkale Martyrs.
