This charming and elegant hunting lodge stands within the bounds of the Validebağı Preventorium, on Koşuyolu (formerly İsmail Paşa Avenue), opposite the Istanbul Municipality Water Administration Depot at the right-hand corner of Sırma Perde Street. To the right of the large garden gate opening onto Koşuyolu stand the water reservoir and water gauge of the Validebağ Pavilion, resembling a castle tower. The single-storey wooden hunting lodge lies 100 metres beyond this gate. A portico resting on wooden columns surrounds the lodge. Beside its door hangs a plaque reading "Abdülaziz Lodge – 1856."
