Editor's Note
When the lodge founded by Abdülbaki Efendi in the late 1700s disappeared over time, Ayşe Sıdıka Hanım, wife of Hasırcıbaşı Hacı Halil, had a lodge built on the same site at the end of the 19th century. Its first sheikh was Hoca Tahsin Efendi. Sultan Abdülhamid II also helped with the lodge's construction, which is why it was also known as the Hamidiye Lodge. Set back about 30 metres from the main road, it is a two-storey wooden structure. Inside are the selamlık (public quarters), comprising a sheikh's room, an assembly room, and dervish cells, along with the harem section, a kitchen, and a tevhidhane (worship hall). There is also a small cemetery in its garden.
