Editor's Note
This was the summer mansion of İbrahim Fehmi Pasha, born in Albania in 1838 and a graduate of the Kuleli Military High School. When he died in 1896, the mansion passed to his wife Nevcivan Hanım. In the Republican period it served as a Chest Diseases Hospital and later, with various buildings added to the same site, as the Koşuyolu Heart Hospital. Today the mansion, which lies within the TÜSEB campus, is no longer in use.
