Editor's Note
The mansion, built in 1905, opened as a girls' school in 1913 and continued in education until the present Özdemiroğlu Primary School building, newly built in 1930, was completed. After the historic building was renovated faithfully to its original form, it opened for use as the Youth Art Centre in 2017. The historic building, said to have been built as four storeys over roughly 180 square metres on a 673-square-metre plot and containing 13 rooms, has been registered as a cultural asset.
