The restored historic mansion has been merged with its outbuildings. It is used by a private business. One of the largest of the Kurbağalıdere mansions, the building also appears on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cultural Heritage map. *The Şefik Bey mentioned by local residents must be Lieutenant Colonel Şefik Bey, deputy district governor and aide-de-camp to War Minister Rıza Pasha.
