Editor's Note
The mansion dates to the 1930s, and its owner ran one of its floors as a private hospital. Built in the Art Deco style with all its materials brought from Europe, it had a boathouse at the water's edge. After the mansion was sold in 1963, it served for a long time as the Moda College. The building has three storeys, with roof additions later made to some parts. For detailed reading: Müfid Ekdal, The Mansions of Kadıköy; Levent Civelekoğlu, Moda, Şifa Çıkmazı No. 25.
