Editor's Note
On the facing slab of this fountain, built of stone and brick, there is both a spout and an inscription. Behind the facing slab is the fountain's reservoir. The platform atop the reservoir was used as an open-air place of prayer. On both sides of the trough below the fountain there were once wide troughs for animals to drink from. Water flowed continuously from the nearby springs. The wording of the inscription is by Şekercizade Seyyid Feyzullah Sermed.
