Murad Reis Mosque is a historic Ottoman-era mosque in the Valide-i Atik neighborhood of Üsküdar. It was commissioned by the naval commander Koca Murad Reis; construction began in 1608 and the mosque opened for worship in 1609. Having fallen into ruin over time, it was rebuilt in 1973. Its founder, Koca Murad Reis, is buried in his tomb on Rhodes.
