Story
Moda Primary School carries more than a century of neighbourhood education in its institutional history. The Ministry of Education archive records that it opened on 19 November 1916 as Moda Kız Numune Mektebi, a model school for girls, and moved into its present building in 1932. Later name changes followed shifts in Türkiye's education system, but the school remained tied to the same Kadıköy neighbourhood. The building is therefore not simply a local landmark; it is a surviving point in the history of public schooling in Moda.
