This waterfront mansion on Paşalimanı Avenue was registered for protection under no. 184 by the Council for Historic Properties and Monuments in 1971. Standing on the Kuzguncuk shore of the Bosphorus (Anatolian side) and popularly known as the "Pink Mansion" for its colour, the building's date of construction cannot be established; based on its plan, Sedat Hakkı Eldem suggests it may date to the reign of Ahmed III (1703-1730) or slightly earlier.
