Editor's Note
Built between 1905 and 1914 as a German School for the children of the German engineers and architects working on the construction of Haydarpaşa Station. In 1918 it became the Ottoman-British School, in 1935 the first Turkish College, and in 1940 a state school known as the 11th Primary School. In 1950 it took the name Osmangazi and continued operating as a primary school. The building has been under restoration since 2020. Source: Arif Atılgan, www.mimdap.org
