Editor's Note
It was built in AH 1336 (1917-1918) by Sultan Mehmed Reşad so that funeral prayers could be held for those martyred in the First World War. The square-plan, roofed mosque has no minaret. A tughra of Sultan Reşad was drawn above the mosque door by the calligrapher Hakkı Bey.
