Editor's Note
It was founded around 1174/1760 by Şeyh Hâfız İsmail Efendi, one of the deputies of Şeyh Seyyid Yahyâ Moravî, the sixth sheikh of the Nûreddin Cerrâhî Âsitânesi. Today nothing remains of the lodge apart from İsmail Efendi's gravestone. Looking through the gap in the iron gate of the garden where the lodge stood, the gravestone can be seen beneath the tree.
