The Van Millingen Library was completed in 1932 and also provided lodging for administrative staff. It is said to be the first modern library in Turkey. The Alexander Van Millingen Building houses the offices of the Rector, the Vice-Rectors and the Secretary-General, as well as the Human Resources, Research and Planning departments.
