Editor's Note
It was built in 1906 by Musahib Cavit Ağa, one of Sultan Abdülhamid II's harem eunuchs. Its pulpit was placed by Tahir Efendi, deputy for Kastamonu during the Second Constitutional period. It was demolished in 1973 because it fell on the Ortaköy footings of the Bosphorus (15 July Martyrs) Bridge then under construction.
