From the work titled Istanbul Fountains we learn that this fountain stood in Çırağan, Beşiktaş, across from the plot of the Topal Hoca Mosque; that its reservoir, later plastered over with concrete, was made of ordinary stone and mortar, while its mirror stone was of marble. All that survives of it today is its inscription, mounted on the facade of the apartment building at no. 9 on Sinan Paşa Mescidi Street.
